Challenger Divisions
The Challenger Baseball Division ($45) provides boys and girls with physical and/or mental challenges, ages 4–18 (or up to age 22 if still enrolled in high school), the opportunity to enjoy baseball. Games may be played as tee ball, coach pitch, player pitch, or a combination of all three. This division also utilizes team “buddies” who assist Challenger players on the field and at bat while encouraging independent play whenever possible.
The Senior League Challenger Division ($45) is designed for players 15 and older who have aged out of the Little League Challenger Division, as well as others who can benefit from the physical and social aspects of the program. This division provides an adaptive baseball experience while continuing to foster teamwork, skill development, and fun in a supportive environment.
Baseball Divisions
The Tee Ball Baseball Division ($80) is designed for children who are league age 4–6 and is played on a field with 60’ basepaths. Players hit from a tee, with an option for coach pitch introduced later in the season. Teams are randomly assigned following registration.
The Coach Pitch Baseball Division ($95) is for players league age 7–8 (or 6 with a waiver and at least one season of tee ball). It is played on a field with 60’ basepaths with a coach pitching from 31' to deliver consistent pitches to help young batters develop their skills. Teams are randomly assigned following registration. Parents seeking an age waiver for a 6-year-old should contact the Player Agent.
Players who register for 9–12 Baseball ($105) will be placed into one of three divisions: AA, AAA, or Majors based on league age and skill level, determined through the player assessment and draft process. All subdivisions are played on a field with 60’ basepaths and a 46’ pitching distance
-
Major Baseball is the most competitive division and consists primarily of league-age 11- and 12-year-olds. However, skilled 9- and 10-year-olds may also be considered. During the draft, Majors teams select players first, focusing on those most ready for this level of play. (All 12-year-olds must play at Majors or above.)
-
AAA Baseball is the next level, offering a more competitive kid-pitch experience while allowing for player development. After Majors selections are complete, AAA teams draft from the remaining skill-appropriate players in the 9–12 age group. (All 11-year-olds must play at AAA or above.)
-
AA Baseball is an introductory kid-pitch division designed for player development. Once the Majors and AAA teams are finalized, AA teams are formed by evenly dividing the remaining registered players to ensure competitive balance across all teams.
This tiered system ensures that all players are placed in a division where they can develop their skills and have an enjoyable experience while maintaining competitive balance across the league.
The Intermediate (50/70) Baseball Division ($125) serves as a transition between the standard Little League field and the full-sized Junior League field. It is played with 70’ basepaths and a 50’ pitching distance. This division introduces traditional baseball rules, including leading off, stealing, and on-deck batters. It is open to players league age 11–13 and teams are selected through a draft after a player assessment.
The Senior Baseball Division ($125) is the final division offered in Little League baseball. It is played on a full-sized field with 90’ basepaths and a 60’6” pitching distance, with full baseball rules including leading off and stealing bases. It is open to league age 14–16 players, and teams are selected through a draft after a player assessment.
Softball Divisions
The Coach Pitch Softball Division ($90) is played on a field with 60’ basepaths, and coaches pitch to batters to assist with hitting. It is open to league age 7–8 players, with 6-year-olds eligible by waiver after completing one season of tee ball. Teams are randomly assigned following registration. Parents seeking an age waiver for a 6-year-old should contact the Player Agent.
Players who register for 9–12 Softball ($100) will be placed into either Minors or Majors based on league age and skill level, determined through the player assessment and draft process.
